Maintenance Tips
-
Daily Temp Check: Record internal temperatures daily (~35 °F target) to ensure proper cooling.
-
Keep Doors Sealed: Always close doors fully; inspect gaskets and sweeps monthly for wear to prevent warm air entry.
-
Weekly Cleaning: Clean interior walls and NSF aluminum floor with mild, food‑safe detergent; remove spills promptly to avoid ice and odors.
-
Airflow Management: Avoid blocking vents, fans, or shelving to maintain even cooling distribution.
-
Coil Care: Clean evaporator and condenser coils monthly to improve efficiency and reduce energy use.
-
Clear Drains: Inspect and clear drain lines routinely to prevent standing water and moisture issues.
-
Hardware Check: Inspect hinges, latches, and door closers; lubricate as needed and replace damaged parts.
-
Light & Defrost Tips: Turn off interior lights when not needed to reduce heat load; monitor for excessive frost and defrost if required.
-
Avoid Heavy Loads on Floor: Keep heavy storage evenly distributed to protect the 600 lb/sq ft floor rating.
-
Professional Service: Schedule periodic HVAC/R inspections to catch issues early and extend unit lifespan.
