First Team Guardian Pickleball Post System - Guardian PKPS

First Team introduces the Guardian pickleball post system. The unit is constructed of 3.5" OD heavy duty, 1/4" thick high tensile aluminum. The heavy-duty steel internal worm gear driven winch is easy and safe to operate and has a lockable handle or handle may be removed. Guardian package systems include a heavy duty pickleball net made from the same high quality companents we use in our tennis nets. Choose from Gaurdian two system options:  Guardian PKPS includes standard PVC sleeves for post installation while Guardian PKSO includes our exclusive sockes with hinged cover lids. Maintenance Tips
  • Clean posts & net regularly: Wipe the 3.5″ heavy‑duty aluminum posts and pickleball net with mild soap and water to remove dirt and chalk dust; avoid harsh chemicals to protect the black powder coat and vinyl‑coated cable.
  • Inspect tension system: Check the internal worm gear winch before play for smooth operation and proper net tension; tighten or adjust as needed to maintain consistent play tension.
  • Check hardware & sleeves: Periodically inspect PVC sleeves, anchors, and post collars for tightness and wear; secure or replace loose hardware promptly.
  • Protect from weather: If installed outdoors without cover, rinse off salt or grit after rain and use covers or remove net and posts during prolonged bad weather to prevent corrosion.
  • Lubricate moving parts: Lightly oil winch mechanisms and tension points annually for smoother adjustment and longer life.
