First Team Sentry Pickleball Post System - Sentry PKPS
First Team introduces the SENTRY pickleball post system. Sentry is the first pickleball set to feature the ability to quickly switch from pickleball to tennis on multi-use courts. The Sentry top cap telescopes up or down with just the pull of a pin to quickly change net height from 36" pickleball to 42" tennis. The unit is constructed of 3.5” OD heavy duty, ¼” thick high tensile aluminum. Aluminum construction makes these posts easy to remove and store, or reset for tennis if desired. The heavy-duty worm gear-driven winch is easy and safe to operate and has a quick detach removable crank handle. Sentry package systems include a heavy-duty, pickleball net made from the same high-quality components we use on our tennis nets.
Choose from Sentry two system options:
SENTRY PKSO includes our exclusive sockets with hinged cover lids. These sockets are particularly useful on multipurpose courts where a smooth flush surface is desired when posts are removed.

- Clean posts & cables regularly: Wipe the aluminum posts and vinyl‑coated cable with mild soap and water to remove dirt, chalk, and sweat; avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the powder‑coat finish.
- Inspect hardware & anchors: Check bolts, sleeves, and net attachment points before use; tighten loose fasteners to maintain stability and safe play.
- Lubricate moving parts: Apply light lubricant on the worm gear winch and quick‑detach handle occasionally for smooth net tensioning and long‑lasting operation.
- Check net tension: Adjust net tension before each session to keep proper playing height and avoid overstressing the posts or hardware.
- Protect from weather: During prolonged non‑use or severe weather, remove the net and cover or store components to prevent corrosion and UV degradation.
- Inspect net condition: Look for frays, loose stitching, or damaged lacing straps and replace the net if needed for consistent performance.
