Marshall  Pre-Loaded Monitor with two MD-HDSDIx2-A Modules - V-MD702-HDSDIX2

Marshall Electronics proudly presents the MD series of rack mount monitors that offer a flexible modular solution to system integration. These rack-mountable monitors can be configured with a variety of video inputs that can be "swapped" or interchanged in the field based on your evolving needs and requirements. This eliminates the need to upgrade or replace equipment when a different input or application is required. This "future proof" solution provides flexibility and reassurance when necessary, especially in multi-monitor rack mount units.

The V-MD702-HDSDIx2 offers two 800 x 480 LED-backlit LCDs in one single configuration, along with excellent viewing angles. The V-MD702-HDSDIx2 includes Composite and Component loop-through, along with two-channel HD-SDI Input Modules with switched output. Other major features include Status Display, False Color Filter, Markers, Freeze Function, Color Temperature Presets, RGB Gain / Bias Adjust, Pixel-to-Pixel, Blue Gun, Hard Tally, user-definable function buttons, and more. A variety of modules are available including 3G/HD/SDI with loop-through, Fiber-Optic input/output modules, and more.

Marshall's MD monitors integrate Telecast Fiber System's TeleCube™ Fiber-Optic HD-SDI transmission input/output modules. These new fiber modules deliver the industry's broadest range of digital rates while maintaining pristine signal quality that broadcasters and integrators demand.

Maintenance Tips
  • Wipe the display regularly using a soft, lint‑free microfiber cloth; avoid ammonia‑based cleaners to protect the screen coating.

  • Keep module slots clean by powering off and using gentle compressed air to clear dust from MD‑HDSDIx2‑A interfaces.

  • Check all video and power connections (HDSDI, power cables) to ensure solid signal paths and prevent wear.

  • Update firmware when available to maintain compatibility and stability with HDSDI sources.

  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit; avoid blocked vents to reduce heat stress on internal boards.

  • Use surge protection or UPS to guard against voltage spikes that could impact sensitive electronics.

  • Store and operate in stable environments — moderate temperature and humidity extend lifespan.
