Maintenance Tips
-
Weekly Exterior Care: Wipe the stainless‑steel surface weekly with a soft cloth and mild detergent or a stainless‑steel cleaner to maintain shine and prevent grease buildup. Always rub with the grain and avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that can scratch the finish.
-
Clean Filters Regularly: If equipped with removable grease filters, wash them every 1–2 months in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher (if manual allows) to ensure efficient airflow.
-
Interior Wipe‑Down: Every 3–6 months, wipe the interior canopy and underside with a degreasing solution and dry thoroughly to reduce trapped grease and odors.
-
Check Vent Ducts: Inspect ductwork and outlets periodically for obstructions or grease accumulation to maintain proper ventilation.
-
Safety First: Always turn off power before cleaning. Avoid abrasive tools, and never insert hands into the fan area while the hood is operating.
