Click on the models for a list of our base model numbers for standard sizes; simply select the model you need, and then specify the finish [painted, stainless steel, real brass, real copper, or hammered copper]. Recommended mounting height is 30" above the cooking surface. Matching wall mount duct covers [sold separately] are available in standard sizes for 8', 9', and 10' ceiling heights or in custom sizes. All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations [outdoor applications such as a covered patio] when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.
What our Experts Think
-
Balanced performance for everyday kitchens — 600 CFM Magic Lung blower provides strong airflow that handles typical smoke, steam, and odors when properly ducted outdoors. Actual blower design yields an equivalent airflow up to ~900 CFM in real‑world use.
-
Filter‑less Magic Lung technology — patented centrifugal system eliminates traditional filters, maximizing airflow while capturing grease and simplifying cleaning.
-
Contemporary styling with white finish — sleek white wall‑mount aesthetic with stainless‑steel trim and rivet details complements modern kitchens.
-
Quiet and comfortable operation — around 6.5 sones at high speed balances strong extraction with manageable noise levels.
-
Integrated lighting — built‑in LED lighting illuminates the cooktop for better visibility during prep and cook times.
-
Installation‑ready design — recommended mounting height ~30″ above the cooking surface and standard 8″ duct ensures efficient exhaust to the outside.
-
Durable and low‑maintenance — B200 Dual blower runs on 115 V with 4 A power and is inherently fire‑safe, with parts like the Magic Lung housing easy to remove for cleaning.

Maintenance Tips
-
Wipe Exterior Weekly – Clean the painted/steel exterior with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water; avoid abrasives, steel wool, and harsh chemicals to protect the finish and prevent scratches.
-
Interior Grease Cleaning – Periodically wipe the interior canopy and grease collection areas with a mild degreaser or dish soap to remove accumulated cooking grease and keep airflow optimal.
-
Magic Lung Blower Care – This model features a filterless centrifugal Magic Lung blower system that captures grease internally; remove and clean the blower housing and removable shields with warm, soapy water as needed for strong suction and quieter performance.
-
Light Bulb Maintenance – Turn off power and let bulbs cool before replacing; wipe light covers to maintain proper illumination over the cooktop.
-
Annual Duct & Fan Inspection – Inspect the blower area and ductwork at least once a year for grease, blockages, or debris; clear buildup to preserve performance and reduce fire risk.
-
Post‑Cooking Ventilation – After heavy cooking, run the hood for several extra minutes to help clear lingering steam, smoke, and grease particles before cleaning.
-
Professional Service When Needed – If airflow weakens significantly or unusual noises occur, have a qualified technician inspect and service internal components.
