Vortex Optics Strike Eagle 5-25x56 EBR-7C MOA Riflescope

Try not to spit out your coffee as you check the price of the Diamondback Tactical FFP after reading about its impressive performance and features. The first focal plane reticle, a feature ordinarily reserved for 4-figure-priced optics, allows shooters to use the information-packed EBR-2C reticles for ranging, holdovers or windage corrections on any magnification. Housed inside its durable, one-piece aluminum tube is a 4x optical system delivering excellent edge-to-edge clarity and sharp resolution. Exposed elevation and windage turrets are low profile enough to stay out of the way in packing situations, but offer the quickness, ease and precision of dialing accurate shots at distance. A side adjustable parallax gives shooters peace of mind by removing parallax error from the equation from 10 yards to infinity.

Dual use for Shooting Tactical / Hunting.

What our Experts Think
  • Serious long-range capability – 5–25x magnification paired with a large 56mm objective delivers excellent performance for precision shooting at extended distances
  • True First Focal Plane accuracy – EBR-7C (MOA) reticle ensures precise holdovers, ranging, and wind calls at any magnification
  • Advanced “Christmas tree” reticle – Designed for fast corrections without constant dialing, ideal for competitive and tactical shooting
  • Massive adjustment range – 34mm tube offers up to 110 MOA elevation & 78 MOA windage, giving plenty of room for extreme даль shots
  • Reliable turret system – Locking turrets with RevStop® Zero System provide repeatable tracking and quick return to zero
  • Strong optical performance – Extra-low dispersion glass and fully multi-coated lenses deliver clear, bright images with good contrast
  • Built for tough environments – Aircraft-grade aluminum construction with waterproof, fogproof, and rugged durability
  • Shooter-friendly features – Includes throw lever, side parallax (15 yards–∞), and illumination for fast adjustments in real-world scenarios
  • Trade-off: weight & size – Around 30 oz, making it more suited for benchrest/precision setups than lightweight hunting rifles

Q&A

Q: What is the Razor Gen III 1‑10x24 designed for?
A: It’s a premium LPVO (Low Power Variable Optic) built for tactical shooting, competition, and duty use, covering both close-quarters and long-range engagements.

Q: What makes the 1–10x magnification special?
A: Offers true 1x for red-dot-like speed and 10x for precision at distance, making it one of the most versatile scopes available.

Q: What is the EBR‑9 (MRAD) reticle used for?
A: A first focal plane “tree-style” reticle designed for ranging, holdovers, and wind corrections with MRAD-based subtensions.

Q: Is the reticle illuminated?
A: Yes, it features bright red illumination (multiple settings) for rapid target acquisition in all lighting conditions.

Q: What is the optical quality like?
A: Equipped with HD lenses, APO system, and XR fully multi-coated optics, delivering outstanding clarity, contrast, and color accuracy.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean lenses properly: Use a microfiber cloth and lens-safe cleaner to protect fully multi-coated optics and maintain maximum light transmission.
  • Keep turrets clean & functional: Wipe elevation/windage turrets to ensure smooth operation—locking turrets and RevStop zero system rely on debris-free movement.
  • Check zero-stop & tracking: Periodically verify RevStop zero return and 1/4 MOA click accuracy for consistent long-range performance.
  • Inspect mount & tube: Ensure the 34mm tube is securely mounted—loose rings can affect accuracy and tracking.
  • Maintain side parallax & focus: Keep adjustment knobs clean for smooth operation from 15 yards to infinity.
  • Battery care (illumination): Replace CR2032 as needed and remove during long-term storage to prevent leakage.
  • Use lens covers & sunshade: Protect the 56mm objective lens from scratches, glare, and environmental exposure.
  • Dry after exposure: Even though waterproof and fogproof (nitrogen purged), wipe down after rain or dust.
  • Avoid impacts: Aircraft-grade aluminum construction is durable, but minimizing shocks preserves internal precision.
