When success rides on the perfect shot, rely on the exceptional versatility and optical performance of Viper HD. From big game to predators, there’s a proven model for every hunting application. Each member of the Viper HD family delivers outstanding image clarity, resolution, and sharpness to ensure your target comes into view with sharp detail. Viper HD also boasts enhanced features for unmatched accuracy at extended ranges while also excelling in the low light of dawn and dusk when game is most active.

VMR-3 (MRAD)

Designed to maximize long-distance shooting and ranging abilities, the VMR-3 reticle can be used to effectively determine ranges, holdovers, windage corrections, and moving target leads. The fine center crosshair subtensions on the VMR-3 reticle were carefully chosen to provide the optimum balance between precision aiming and low-light visibility.

Features
  • HD Optical System: Optimized with select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission.
  • Illuminated Reticle: Provides precise aiming under low-light conditions.
  • 30mm Main Tube: For increased travel.
  • Exposed Locking Elevation Turret: Integrated locking mechanism prevents accidental adjustments. Elevation turret provides fast, accurate, easily read elevation adjustments.
  • RevStop Zero System: For a rock-solid return to zero after turret adjustments.
Fully Multi-Coated Lenses: Anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces provide increased light transmission for greater clarity and low-light performance.
  • ArmorTek: Ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt.
  • Argon Gas Purged: Gas purged and O-ring sealed for fogproof and waterproof performance in all conditions.
  • Fast Focus Eyepiece: Allows quick and easy reticle focusing.
  • Aircraft-Grade Aluminum: Constructed from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and rigidity.
  • Low Glare Matte Black Anodize: Corrosion and wear resistant anodization provides low-glare matte surface and helps camouflage the shooter's position.
  • Single-Piece Tube: Maximizes alignment for improved accuracy and optimum visual performance, as well as ensures strength and waterproofness.
  • Waterproof: Designed to withstand harsh weather conditions.
  • Fogproof: Nitrogen gas purging prevents internal fogging over a wide range of temperatures.
  • Shockproof: Designed to withstand the highest levels of recoil and impact.

What our Experts Think
  • Excellent long‑range versatility
The 5–25× magnification range covers everything from mid‑range hunting to serious long‑distance precision shooting, making it a highly adaptable optic.
  • HD optical system delivers sharp, usable clarity
With HD glass and fully multi‑coated lenses, you get bright, high‑contrast images with strong edge‑to‑edge sharpness, even in low‑light conditions like dawn and dusk.
  • VMR‑3 MRAD reticle built for precision work
The SFP VMR‑3 reticle provides fine subtensions for accurate holdovers, wind calls, and ranging, while maintaining a clean sight picture at all times.
  • Reliable tracking with tactical-style controls
Features like 0.1 MRAD adjustments, exposed elevation turret, and RevStop® zero system ensure precise, repeatable dialing and fast return to zero.
  • Balanced 30mm tube for adjustment range & durability
The 30mm tube provides solid elevation/windage travel while maintaining a lighter, more practical weight (~25 oz) compared to heavier tactical scopes.
  • Parallax adjustment for accuracy at distance
Side parallax (20 yards to infinity) allows fine-tuning focus and eliminating parallax error, critical for long-range precision.
  • Rugged, field-ready construction
Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof with durable coatings—built to handle harsh outdoor environments and consistent recoil.
  • SFP trade-off: simplicity vs flexibility
The second focal plane design keeps the reticle clean and easy to see, but holdovers are only accurate at a specific magnification—something advanced shooters should note.
  • Great value precision optic
Delivers near high-end performance at a mid-range price point, making it a strong choice for shooters upgrading into long-range capability.
  • Bundle adds extra utility
The free hat bundle enhances overall value without increasing cost.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean HD Glass Correctly: Use a blower first, then a microfiber cloth with lens-safe cleaner to maintain sharp resolution and light transmission.
  • Protect with Lens Caps: Always cover the 50mm objective and eyepiece to prevent scratches, dust, and oil buildup.
  • Keep Turrets & Controls Clean: Ensure elevation, windage, and zoom rings remain smooth and debris-free for precise MRAD adjustments.
  • Avoid Impacts & Shock: Drops or hard recoil can affect zero and tracking accuracy.
  • Dry After Field Use: Even with waterproof/fogproof construction, wipe dry after moisture exposure to preserve seals.
  • Check Mounting Stability: Properly torque rings on the tube to maintain zero and consistent performance.
  • Store in Controlled Conditions: Avoid extreme heat, humidity, or direct sunlight to protect internal optics.
  • Regular Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down to remove dirt and oils, maintaining grip and durability.
